From Salt Lake City, Utah (approximately 290 miles/5-6 hours): 1) I-15 to Idaho Falls. 2) US 26 to Swan Valley. 3) ID 31 over Pine Creek Pass to Victor. 4) ID 33 to WY 22 over Teton Pass, through Wilson to Jackson. You will see a sign in Swan Valley directing you to Jackson via US26 to Alpine Junction, ignore the sign and follow the signs to Victor/Driggs, Idaho. If you would like to avoid the 10% grade of Teton Pass: 1) US 26 from Idaho Falls to Swan Valley. 2) Continue on US 26 to Alpine Junction. 3) US 26/89 to Hoback Junction. US 26/89/191 to Jackson. OR 1) I-80 to Evanston. 2) WY 89/UT 16 to Woodruff, Randolph, and Sage Creek Junction. 3) US 30/WY 89 to Cokeville and then Border. 4) Continue on WY 89 to Afton, and then to Alpine Junction. 5) US 26/89 to Hoback Junction. 6) US 26/89/191 to Jackson. From Denver, Colorado (approximately 550 miles/9-10 hours) 1) I-25N to Cheyenne. 2) I-80W through Laramie to Rock Springs. 3) US 191 North through Pinedale. 4) US 191 to Hoback Junct

Quand y aller

The park is open year-round although many facilities, concessioners and roads close for the winter season. The Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center is open for permits and information every day except December 25. The outer highway 26/89/191 is open year-round within the park and east through Togwotee Pass to Dubois. The Teton Park Road is closed to vehicles from the Taggart Lake Trailhead to the Signal Mountain Lodge November 1 through April 30 or longer depending on snow conditions. During this period, the road is open to non-motorized recreation (skiing, snowshoeing, cycling, walking, rollerblading) depending on road conditions.
